Other Sports
Hurling and Gaelic football are
the most well-known GAA activities and occupy the same place
in Irish society as soccer does in England or Baseball and American
Football do in the USA. But in many schools all over Ireland
one will find children playing Rounders and Handball, and in
some areas of the country you will find people playing a rare
pastime called road-bowling. |
